As we move closer towards DDW® 2015, now is a great time to reflect upon how new technologies introduced at DDW that have had a major influence on the GI field. Take for instance the innovative vibrating capsule introduced at DDW 2014. This particular invention is an oral capsule that travels through the digestive tract and assists in the treatment of constipation. Since being presented at DDW, the vibrating capsule has been rolled out to patients across the country as part of a new clinical trial to test the product’s efficacy.

What new innovations will surface at DDW 2015? Be sure to check out the below sessions and abstracts geared towards technology — you will not want to miss innovation at its prime.
